Phonesex Rats
This is an interesting premise for a site, if ambitious. Having run a review site for the past 8 years, I'm well aware of just how time-consuming and exhausting it can be to do something that sounds, in theory, quite fun. Phonesex Rats is a phonesex review site: they not only review the site itself, but they also place phone calls to see if the voice matches what the site bio and pictures say. I did notice in reading through the reviews that the criteria does just seem to be "does the voice match", I didn't see any in-depth info about how a particular call went so I'm assuming they don't do that. Right now there are less than a dozen reviews by their 4 staff members. In reading through the webmaster FAQ, I saw that they are charging $20 for a review, so perhaps that is part of the slow start. At any rate, as I mentioned it's a great premise, but right now it's not much to see.

What we liked: the idea of someone reviewing the actual service, not just the website like we do. What was disappointing: they don't really do that, though it seemed at first glance they might.
